Bartonella henselae /Bacillary angiomatosis: cutaneous biopsy
Description
Hematoxylin and eosin staining of a biopsy specimen of a cutaneous Bacillary angiomatosis lesion demonstrates a dermal vessel lined with protuberant endothelial cells surrounded by myxoid connective tissue containing neutrophils and amphophilic granular material in close proximity to the vascular lumen.
