Basal ganglia calcifications: on head CT, suggestive of pediatric HIV infection
Description
Computed tomography (CT) scan of the brain of a 9-month-old girl with HIV infection and bilateral calcifications of the basal ganglia. This finding in an infant or young child strongly suggests HIV infection.
